BOSTON — February 11, 2015 — Cambrian Innovation, provider of advanced biotechnology products for industrial businesses, announced today that Baji Gobburi joined the company as the new vice president of sales. Drawing on his two decades of leadership roles in the industrial water and clean energy industries, Baji will accelerate Cambrian’s robust customer pipeline and lead business development globally.

Baji comes to Cambrian from Energy Recovery Inc. (ERI), where he served as director of business and product development. Prior to ERI, Baji held various global management positions at General Electric (GE) Water & Process Technologies, including general manager of Caribbean desalination operations and field services leader for North America chemicals. Baji also held positions at environmental consulting firms, Integrated Environmental Solutions, Inc., and TRC Environmental Companies, Inc.

Gobburi’s hire comes on the heels of Cambrian Innovation’s selection as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer. CEO Matthew Silver recently spoke on a panel titled “Energy Innovations with Technology Pioneers” alongside Al Gore at the forum’s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
