Cheap environmental sensors are needed to monitor crops, manage watersheds, and enforce regulations. Cambrian has invented and patented a novel sensor platform based on BES technology, with the potential to reduce the cost and complication of sensing nitrates in water. The platform is currently being developed with funding from the National Science Foundation SBIR program. It will soon be extended to other elements.
