BES Research Kits
The emerging field of bio-electrochemical research requires a uniform, modular test kit for world-wide comparative research. To date research groups have struggled to design a simple and efficient BES that is both easy to construct and adaptable for various outputs.
Our expertise in the field has resulted in the development of our standard BES Research Kit. A combination of optimized electrode materials and configuration has enabled us to construct a high performance test kit suited for wide ranging applications. The entire system is autoclavable so can be used for mixed or pure culture studies.
The modular architecture of the BES Research Kit allows for easy reactor alterations. This aspect of design enables the construction of BES systems that are capable of diverse functions such as; hydrogen and methane production as well as nitrate removal and desalination.
